Database search

The majority of our clients instruct us on a contingency basis. Simply brief us on the vacancy/ vacancies you are looking to recruit for and we will search our network for suitable matches. You will be presented with a shortlist of candidates, some of whom you will hopefully select to interview. If you engage one of our candidates a fee will be payable. This option is attractive to clients because it is low risk; it costs nothing to see our candidates and you only pay if we find the right candidate.

Retained/advertised search

For more difficult vacancies to recruit for, or campaigns requiring multiple posts to be filled, we recommend retaining us exclusively. This would involve paying us a percentage of our fee(s) in advance of us commencing a search. By moving away from the “no win, no fee” model, and because you are using us exclusively, we are able to spend more time working on the assignment. In addition, we can also advertise* the vacancy/ vacancies with your branding (due to the fact that by paying some of the fee in advance you have committed to us and are unlikely to accept CV’s from our competitors).

On occasions clients look for candidates with very niche/ specialist industry experience. If we don’t have the right person on our database and it is deemed unlikely any advertising campaign will yield the right result, we may advise you that a more targeted approach is required. Typically this would involve identifying someone who is working for a competitor and approaching them on your behalf.
